CARDIAC REHAB INFORMATION
Cardiac rehab is available through the Cairns Private Hospital or Cairns Base Hospital.

This service is free of charge to patients with private health insurance.

Two types are available for your convenience:
- A 6 week session consisting of exercise and education twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
- A fast track session consisting of an education day is available one day a month.
- Cardiac rehab is also available at Atherton Hospital, Innisfail Hospital, and Mossman Hospital.

Most of our patients are admitted to the Coronary Care Unit or the Medical Ward.
